Day One
Reception in the Airport and transfer to the Hotel. Settle into the hotel and the rest of the day is free.
Overnight at the Hotel of your choice.

Day Two
Breakfast in the Hotel. A very early departure to the Metropolitan National Park where you can observe the wildlife in this park in the middle of the city. Known as the "Lungs of the City", this tropical rainforest boats over 200 species of birds along with numerous mammals including sloths and monkeys.
After a guided tour of the park we continue to the Miraflores Locks to see how these huge ships pass through the Panama Canal. After lunch in a local restaurant we will visit the old Colonial Town and tour the Museum of the Inter-Oceanic Canal. Return to your Hotel in the late afternoon.

Day Three
Breakfast in the Hotel and transfer to the Train Station to take the train to Colón. During the trip you will enjoy a privileged view of the Canal and Gatun Lake. Upon arrival in Colón you will be taken past the Gatun Locks to visit Fort San Lorenzo one of the historic Spanish forts that is surrounded by nature. About 5:00 pm you will be taken back to the Train Station to return to Panama. As dusk falls the view from the train is very different from the morning. Returning to the hotel in the early evening.

Day Four
Breakfast in the hotel and then depart for Barro Colorado Island, where you will spend the day surrounded by nature. A guided tour of the nature reserve and research station in the middle of the Panama Canal will show you some of the unique flora and fauna of the region. A light lunch is included. Return to the hotel in the early evening.
